Something old,

Something old,
Something new,
Something borrowed,
Something blue
and a sixpence in your shoe.

I'd never heard of the sixpence part of this rhyme until yesterday. According to the saying the bride wears a lucky sixpence in her left shoe to bring good fortune on the happy couple.

  3. Hope you had a fab holiday!

I considered having a silver sixpence in my shoe but road tested with a penny and it was uncomfortable!

    Great choices. Love the bunting
